Jesus Christ is he who opens the seven seals of Revelation,

Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” (Revelation 5:5 [NIV])

He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. (Revelation 5:7 [NIV])

And they sang a new song with these words: “You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slaughtered, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. (Revelation 5:9 [NLT])

In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” (Revelation 5:12 [NIV])

I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” (Revelation 6:1 [NIV])

He began to open the seals after his resurrection and ascension to heaven, because that is the time he became exalted to sit at the right hand of God,

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, (Philippians 2:9 [NIV])

Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. (Romans 8:34 [ESV])

And so, each seal up to this portion of the sixth seal of Revelation,

I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. (Revelation 6:12-13 [NIV])

Have already been opened and fulfilled, in which case, in the same order described in this passage, the great earthquake occurred in 1755 in Lisbon, Portugal, as one of the worst earthquakes known to man. Then the sun turned black and the moon turned red as blood in 1780 as witnessed over the American colonies, in which the noon hour was described being as “midnight” and the night came with the moon appearing red as blood, which coincides with this other prophecy,

The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. (Joel 2:31 [NIV])

Then the stars fell to earth in 1833 as the great and terrifying meteor shower witnessed all over North America, which coincides with these other prophecies,

…The stars will fall from the sky like withered leaves from a grapevine, or shriveled figs from a fig tree.
(Isaiah 34:4 [NLT])

Immediately after the distress of those days… the stars will fall from the sky
(Matthew 24:29 [NIV])

But in those days, following that distress… the stars will fall from the sky… (Mark 13:24-25 [NIV])

And so, these were warning signs that come before the dreadful day of this remaining portion of the sixth seal, which remains to be fulfilled next,

The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” (Revelation 6:14-17 [NIV])

Which coincides with these other prophecies,

…And all the host of heaven will wear away, And the sky will be rolled up like a scroll
(Isaiah 34:4 [NAS1977])

Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you! (Isaiah 64:1 [NIV])

…the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the LORD Almighty, in the day of his burning anger. (Isaiah 13:13 [NIV])

The fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. (Ezekiel 38:20 [NIV])

Before them the earth shakes… (Joel 2:10 [NIV])

And on whichever day this portion of the sixth seal happens is when Jesus Christ will descend,

Then the earth shook and quaked; And the foundations of the mountains were trembling And were shaken, because He was angry… He bowed the heavens also, and came down With thick darkness under His feet. (Psalm 18:7-9 [NASB])

Bow Your heavens, O LORD, and come down… (Psalm 144:5 [NASB])

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy before the LORD, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.
(Psalm 96:11-13 [ESV])

“I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. (Daniel 7:13 [NASB])

See, the day of the LORD is coming –a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger– to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it. (Isaiah 13:9 [NIV])

With trumpets and the sound of the horn Shout joyfully before the King, the LORD. Let the sea roar and all it contains, The world and those who dwell in it. Let the rivers clap their hands, Let the mountains sing together for joy Before the LORD, for He is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness And the peoples with equity. (Psalm 98:6-9 [NASB])

Where the entire earth will shake, and the “sky will be rolled up like a scroll”, which means that dark and thick clouds will advance and cover the entire earth, like a book or scroll being closed up, hence,

He bowed the heavens and came down; thick darkness was under his feet. (Psalms 18:9 [ESV])

And these dark clouds that will cover the entire earth will conceal the glory of his coming,

He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him– the dark rain clouds of the sky. (Psalm 18:11 [NIV])

Which is how the “host of heaven will wear away” or the “heavens will disappear”, because the stars, the moon, and the sun will all be concealed by these dark clouds. And because of this is why men will hide in the caves of the earth, to try to hide from Jesus Christ when he descends on the earth at his second coming, which is also the “day of the Lord”,

Men will go into caves of the rocks And into holes of the ground Before the terror of the LORDAnd the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to make the earth tremble. In that day men will cast away to the moles and the bats Their idols of silver and their idols of gold, Which they made for themselves to worship, In order to go into the caverns of the rocks and the clefts of the cliffs Before the terror of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty, When He arises to make the earth tremble. (Isaiah 2:19-21 [NASB])

But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief. On that day the heavens will disappear with a roaring sound… (2 Peter 3:10 [ISV])

And it is on this day that the time of “great tribulation” will begin, after the tribulation of when the elect were persecuted, because it is the beginning of the greatest distress that has ever befallen the earth and will never again happen,

“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people–everyone whose name is found written in the book–will be delivered. (Daniel 12:1 [NIV])

For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now–and never to be equaled again. “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you ahead of time. “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. (Matthew 24:21-27 [NIV])

For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never will be. And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days. (Mark 13:19-20 [ESV])

And then the seventh and final seal will be opened shortly thereafter, which are the seven trumpets of Revelation,

When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. (Revelation 8:1-2 [NIV])

And so, just as the spring Jewish festivals coincide with the first coming of Jesus Christ and the actual dates of the events they each symbolize, such as Jesus Christ dying on the Passover, Jesus Christ being resurrected on the Festival of First Fruits, and Jesus Christ sending the holy spirit on the Festival of Weeks (Pentecost), so do the Jewish autumn festivals coincide with the second coming of Jesus Christ and the actual dates of the events they each symbolize. As such, the Festival of Trumpets,

“‘On the first day of the seventh month hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. It is a day for you to sound the trumpets. (Numbers 29:1 [NIV])

Coincide with the seven trumpets of Revelation, and the first trumpet will be sounded within the dates of the Festival of Trumpets,

The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. (Revelation 8:7 [NIV])

Which happens shortly after his second coming, since his coming is also associated with the sound of trumpets,

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God… (1 Thessalonians 4:16 [NIV])

Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven… with a loud trumpet call…(Matthew 24:30-31 [NIV])

And the first trumpet coincides with these prophecies,

He opened the heavens and came down; dark storm clouds were beneath his feet…Thick clouds shielded the brightness around him and rained down hail and burning coals. (Psalm 18:9-12 [NLT])

Upon the wicked He will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup. For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness; The upright will behold His face. (Psalm 11:6-7 [NASB])

The LORD will make his majestic voice heard. He will come down with all his might, with furious anger, with fire storms, windstorms, rainstorms, and hailstones.
(Isaiah 30:30 [GODSWORD])

But shall come the day of the Lord as a thief in the night… and the elements being incinerated by fire shall be loosed; and the earth and the works in it shall be incinerated. (2 Peter 3:10 [INTERLINEARIZED])*

Interlinear Links: 2 Peter 3:10

expecting and hastening the arrival of the day of God… by reason of which from the heavens fire shall be loosed, and the elements being incinerated by fire shall be destroyed? (2 Peter 3:12 [INTERLINEARIZED])*

Interlinear Links: 2 Peter 3:12

“Immediately after the anguish of those days… the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
(Matthew 24:29 [NLT])

“At that time, after the anguish of those days…the powers in the heavens will be shaken. (Mark 13:24-25 [NLT])

Therefore I will make the heavens tremble… at the wrath of the LORD Almighty, in the day of his burning anger. (Isaiah 13:13 [NIV])

Before them… the heavens tremble… (Joel 2:10 [NIV])

See, the LORD is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. (Isaiah 66:15 [NIV])

Then the second trumpet will be sounded,

The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. (Revelation 8:8 [ESV])

Followed by the third trumpet,

The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the water, because it had been made bitter. (Revelation 8:10-11 [ESV])

Which coincides with this prophecy,

“Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets, ‘Behold, I am going to feed them wormwood And make them drink poisonous water, For from the prophets of Jerusalem Pollution has gone forth into all the land.'” (Jeremiah 23:15 [NASB])

Then the fourth trumpet will be sounded,

Then the fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. And there was no light for a third of the day and for a third of the night likewise. (Revelation 8:12 [NETBIBLE])

Which coincides with these prophecies,

“Immediately after the anguish of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will give no light… (Matthew 24:29 [NLT])

For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not flash forth their light; The sun will be dark when it rises And the moon will not shed its light. (Isaiah 13:10 [NASB])

Then the moon will be confounded and the sun ashamed, for the LORD of hosts reigns on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and his glory will be before his elders. (Isaiah 24:23 [ESV])

When I blot you out, I will veil the heavens and darken the stars. I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give you its light. (Ezekiel 32:7 [NLT])

…The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining. (Joel 2:10 [ESV])

The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining. (Joel 3:15 [EV])

“At that time, after the anguish of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will give no light, (Mark 13:24 [NLT])

And the final three trumpets are woes, because they are worse than the preceding trumpets,

As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!” (Revelation 8:13 [NIV])

The fifth trumpet is then sounded, which is the first woe,

The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth… They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer). (Revelation 9:1-11 [NIV])

In which case, the Abyss is an actual place, hence why the demons that spoke to Jesus Christ begged him to not have them thrown there,

And the demons kept begging Jesus not to order them to go into the abyss. (Luke 8:31 [BSB])

The locusts that are in the Abyss symbolize fallen angels that are specifically imprisoned in the Abyss, hence why they are described as,

And the locusts looked like horses prepared for battle, with something like crowns of gold on their heads, and faces like the faces of men. (Revelation 9:7 [BSB])

Because angels resemble the appearance of men,

Then the woman came and told her husband, “A man of God came to me, and his appearance was like the appearance of the angel of God, very awesome. I did not ask him where he was from, and he did not tell me his name, (Judges 13:6 [ESV])

And the crowns of gold symbolize the authority angels have, inclusive of fallen angels,

I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you…” (Psalm 82:6-7 [ESV])

But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. (Daniel 10:13 [NIV])

in which the god of this aeon* blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so as to not shine forth to them the illumination of the good news of the glory of the Christ, who is image of the unseen of God. (2 Corinthians 4:4 [MODIFIED-ABP])*

Interlinear Links: *‘αἰῶνος (aeon), 2 Corinthians 4:4

Yet likewise also these dreaming ones indeed defile the flesh, and set aside authority, and blaspheme glorious onesBut Michael the archangel, when he was reasoning with the devil, disputing about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring against him a blasphemous judgment, but he said “The Lord rebuke you.” But these indeed speak evil of whatever things they have not seen; and whatever things they understand naturally, as the irrational animals, in these things they corrupt themselves. (Jude 1:8-10 [BLB])

And the angels released from the Abyss are the angels mentioned in this passage,

After being made alive, he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— (1 Peter 3:19 [NIV])

And also here,

the angels moreover, not having kept their own domain, but having left the own dwelling, unto judgment of the great day, in continual* chains under darkness he keeps; (Jude 1:6 [INTERLINEARIZED])*

Interlinear Links: *ἀϊδίοις (continual), Jude 1:6

And also here, where Tartarus is another name for the Abyss,

For if God did not spare the angels having sinned, but having cast them down to Tartarus, in chains of gloomy darkness, delivered them, being kept for judgment;
(2 Peter 2:4 [BLB])

And even though they are imprisoned awaiting judgment, they will be released for a short period of five months and permitted to torment men,

They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes. (Revelation 9:5 [NIV])

And men will try to seek death, but will not be able to die,

During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them. (Revelation 9:6 [NIV])

Then the sixth trumpet is sounded, which is the second woe,

Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, were released to kill a third of mankind. (Revelation 9:13-15 [ESV])

And four angels that are bound in another location, at the Euphrates river, will be released to command an army of “myriads of myriads” of more fallen angels, since aside from the angels that were imprisoned in the Abyss and released, there exists more fallen angels that are not imprisoned,

For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 [ASV])

And the number of the military of the horses — myriads of myriads; and I heard  their number. (Revelation of John 9:16 [ABP])

Since a third of the many angels that exist are fallen,

Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads.
Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth… (Revelation 12:3-4 [NIV])

And aside from the imprisoned angels there were released to torment men, these fallen angels will kill a third of mankind, which coincides with this other prophecy,

Sound the trumpet in Jerusalem! Raise the alarm on my holy mountain! Let everyone tremble in fear because the day of the Lord is upon us. It is a day of darkness and gloom, a day of thick clouds and deep blackness. Suddenly, like dawn spreading across the mountains, a great and mighty army appears. Nothing like it has been seen before or will ever be seen again. Fire burns in front of them, and flames follow after them. Ahead of them the land lies as beautiful as the Garden of Eden.Behind them is nothing but desolation; not one thing escapes. They look like horses;they charge forward like warhorses.Look at them as they leap along the mountaintops. Listen to the noise they make—like the rumbling of chariots, like the roar of fire sweeping across a field of stubble,or like a mighty army moving into battle.Fear grips all the people; every face grows pale with terror. The attackers march like warriors and scale city walls like soldiers. Straight forward they march, never breaking rank. They never jostle each other;  each moves in exactly the right position. They break through defenses without missing a step. They swarm over the city and run along its walls. They enter all the houses, climbing like thieves through the windows.(Joel 2:1-9 [NLT])

See, the LORD is coming… For with fire and with his sword the LORD will execute judgment on all people, and many will be those slain by the LORD. (Isaiah 66:15-16 [NIV])

“Now prophesy all these things, and say to them, “‘The LORD will roar against his own land from his holy dwelling in heaven. He will shout like those who tread grapes; he will shout against everyone on earth. His cry of judgment will reach the ends of the earth, for the LORD will bring his case against all the nations. He will judge all the people of the earth, slaughtering the wicked with the sword. I, the LORD, have spoken!'” This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: “Look! Disaster will fall upon nation after nation! A great whirlwind of fury is rising from the most distant corners of the earth!” In that day those the LORD has slaughtered will fill the earth from one end to the other. No one will mourn for them or gather up their bodies to bury them. They will be scattered on the ground like manure.
(Jeremiah 25:30-33 [NLT])

Which also relates with the last plague against Egypt, for all the firstborn were killed by fallen angels,

When the LORD goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down. (Exodus 12:23 [NIV])

How he had wrought his signs in Egypt… He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.
(Psalm 78:43-49 [KJV])

And then the seventh trumpet is sounded, which is the final woe,

And the seventh angel trumped. And there were great voice in the heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world is become of our Lord, and  of his Christ, and he shall reign into the aeons* of the aeons*. (Revelation of John 11:15 [MODIFIED-ABP])*

Interlinear Links: *αἰῶνας (aeons), αἰώνων (aeons), Revelation 11:15

In which case, Jesus Christ will begin to rule on the earth over all nations,

In his days may the righteous flourish and prosperity abound till the moon is no more. May he rule from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth. May the desert tribes bow before him and his enemies lick the dust. May the kings of Tarshish and of distant shores bring tribute to him. May the kings of Sheba and Seba present him gifts. May all kings bow down to him and all nations serve him. (Psalm 72:7-11 [NIV])

Woe to the land of whirring wings along the rivers of Cush, which sends envoys by sea in papyrus boats over the water. Go, swift messengers, to a people tall and smooth-skinned, to a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers. All you people of the world, you who live on the earth, when a banner is raised on the mountains, you will see it, and when a trumpet sounds, you will hear it. This is what the LORD says to me: “I will remain quiet and will look on from my dwelling place, like shimmering heat in the sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.” For, before the harvest, when the blossom is gone and the flower becomes a ripening grape, he will cut off the shoots with pruning knives, and cut down and take away the spreading branches. They will all be left to the mountain birds of prey and to the wild animals; the birds will feed on them all summer, the wild animals all winter. At that time gifts will be brought to the LORD Almighty from a people tall and smooth-skinned, from a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers– the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of the Name of the LORD Almighty. (Isaiah 18:1-7 [NIV])

Which is a rulership that will last for a thousand years,

…of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6 [NIV])

And he will rule with a rod of iron. He will begin his rulership by destroying the nations with a series of plagues that come after the trumpet blasts,

Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.” (Psalm 2:8-9 [NIV])

I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless. (Isaiah 13:11 [NIV])

Upon which, on the tenth day after the Festival of Trumpets is the Day of Atonement, also called the Day of Redemption,

“However, on the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. It’s a sacred assembly for you. Humble yourselves and bring an offering made by fire to the LORD. You are not to do any work that same day. It’s the Day of Atonement, because your atonement is made in the presence of the LORD your God. Anyone who doesn’t humble himself that same day is to be eliminated from contact with his people. I’ll eliminate anyone who does work that day from among his people. (Leviticus 23:27-30 [ISV])

Where one more trumpet will be sounded,

Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land.Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan. The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines. (Leviticus 25:9-11 [NIV])

Which is the last trumpet spoken of by Paul, where the dead will be resurrected into new bodies, and those who were still alive will be changed into new bodies,

[51] Behold, I speak a mystery to you; we shall not all indeed sleep, but all shall be changed, [52] in an instant, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For it shall trump, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. [53] For it is necessary this corruption to put on incorruptibility, and this mortal to put on immortality. [54] But whenever this corruptible should have put on incorruptibility, and this mortal should have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word having been written, Death was swallowed down in victory.
(I Corinthians 15:51-54 [ABP])

“As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.” (Daniel 12:13 [NIV])

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to aeonial* life, and some to shame and aeonial* contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars aeonially* and beyond*. (Daniel 12:1-3 [MODIFIED-KJV])*

Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy! For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth. He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet. He chose our heritage for us, the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet. Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm! God reigns over the nations; God sits on his holy throne. (Psalm 47:1-8 [NIV])

But your dead will live, LORD; their bodies will rise– let those who dwell in the dust wake up and shout for joy– your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead. Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by. See, the LORD is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer. (Isaiah 26:19-21 [NIV])

Since whoever was still alive up this point in time and belongs to Jesus Christ will not be hurt by any of the trumpets, which relates to these passages,

You need not fear terror that stalks in the night, the arrow that flies in the day, plague that strikes in the darkness, or calamity that destroys at noon. If a thousand fall at your side or ten thousand at your right hand, it will not overcome you. (Psalm 91:5-7 [ISV])

But the LORD will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and that of Egypt, so that no animal belonging to the Israelites will die.‘” (Exodus 9:4 [NIV])

They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. (Revelation 9:4 [NIV])

And then all the elect will be gathered by angels, and taken to meet the Lord in the air,

This is because the Lord himself will come down from heaven with the signal of a shout by the head angel and a blast on God’s trumpet. First, those who are dead in Christ will rise. 17 Then, we who are living and still around will be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet with the Lord in the air. That way we will always be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 [CEB])

Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. (Matthew 24:30-31 [NIV])

And this is the time where great harvest begins, where the elect are the first to be reaped by angels,

Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.So he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested. (Revelation 14:15 [NIV])

[38] and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the wicked one; [39] and the enemy, the one sowing them is the devil; and the harvest is the completion of the aeon*; and the harvesters are angels. (Matthew 13:38-39 [MODIFIED-ABP])*

Which coincides with these prophecies,

In that day the LORD will thresh from the flowing Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt, and you, Israel, will be gathered up one by one. And in that day a great trumpet will sound… (Isaiah 27:12-13 [NIV])

He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth. (Isaiah 11:12 [NIV])

And all the elect who are gathered, whether Jew or Gentile, who came to the belief of Jesus Christ, will all be called Israel,

No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God. (Romans 2:29 [NIV])

After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree! I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. (Romans 11:24-26 [NIV])

Which will be the restoration of the kingdom to Israel,

Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” (Acts 1:6 [NIV])

Whose exact number of chosen is revealed as 144,000 people,

Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel. (Revelation 7:4 [NIV])

For the seal is the holy spirit given to those who are chosen,

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, (Ephesians 1:13 [NIV])

That by having this seal, those that are chosen may be the ones that are gathered on the Day of Redemption, otherwise called the Day of Atonement,

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. (Ephesians 4:30 [ESV])

And then a second reaping by angels occurs,

And another angel came out from the altar, the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.” So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. (Revelation 14:18-19 [ESV])

Which corresponds with these prophecies,

Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the winepress is full and the vats overflow– so great is their wickedness!” (Joel 3:13 [NIV])

Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah, with his garments stained crimson? Who is this, robed in splendor, striding forward in the greatness of his strength? “It is I, proclaiming victory, mighty to save.” Why are your garments red, like those of one treading the winepress? “I have trodden the winepress alone; from the nations no one was with me. I trampled them in my anger and trod them down in my wrath; their blood spattered my garments, and I stained all my clothing. (Isaiah 63:1-3 [NIV])

In which case, the grapes symbolize the people of Israel who never came to the belief of Jesus Christ,

What more was there to do for my vineyard, that I have not done in it? When I looked for it to yield grapes, why did it yield wild grapes? And now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard. I will remove its hedge, and it shall be devoured; I will break down its wall, and it shall be trampled down… For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are his pleasant planting; and he looked for justice, but behold, bloodshed; for righteousness, but behold, an outcry!
(Isaiah 5:4-7 [ESV])

And they will be snatched by angels and thrown outside Jerusalem to be trampled, and much blood will flow from them being slaughtered,

I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.” “Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other will be left.” (Luke 17:34-36 [NIV])

And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse’s bridle, for 1,600 stadia. (Revelation 14:20 [ESV])

Then at the fifteenth day is the Festival of Booths,

“‘So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the festival to the LORD for seven days; the first day is a day of sabbath rest, and the eighth day also is a day of sabbath rest. On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees–from palms, willows and other leafy trees–and rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. Celebrate this as a festival to the LORD for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month. Live in temporary shelters for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in temporary shelters when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.'”(Leviticus 23:39-43 [NIV])

Which happens shortly after all the “grapes” have been trampled outside Jerusalem after the Day of Atonement,

You are to celebrate the Festival of Booths for seven days when you have gathered in everything from your threshing floor and winepress. (Deuteronomy 16:13 [HCSB])

Which will be fulfilled when the elect begin to live in an encampment that will exist in Israel, hence why towards the end of the thousand year rulership of Jesus Christ and the elect, the nations will come against this encampment and against Jerusalem,

And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, (Revelation 20:9 [ESV])

Which is also where the throne of Jesus Christ will be established,

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. (Matthew 25:31 [NIV])

Which relates to this prophecy of the spacious place where the elect will be taken after being “drawn from many waters”,

He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters… He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me. The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.  (Psalm 18:16-20 [NIV])

Where this “encampment”, or “spacious place”, will also be called “Zion”,

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. (Revelation 14:1 [NIV])

In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
 (Isaiah 2:2-3 [NIV])

for God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah. Then people will settle there and possess it; the children of his servants will inherit it, and those who love his name will dwell there. (Psalm 69:35-36 [NIV])

You will arise and have pity on Zion; it is the time to favor her; the appointed time has come. For your servants hold her stones dear and have pity on her dust. Nations will fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth will fear your glory. For the LORD builds up Zion; he appears in his glory(Psalm 102:13-16 [NIV])

The LORD swore an oath to David, a sure oath he will not revoke: “One of your own descendants I will place on your throne. If your sons keep my covenant and the statutes I teach them always*, then their sons will sit on your always*.” For the LORD has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling, saying, “This is my resting place always*; here I will always* sit enthroned, for I have desired it. I will bless her with abundant provisions; her poor I will satisfy with food. I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her faithful people will ever sing for joy. “Here I will make a horn grow for David and set up a lamp for my anointed one. I will clothe his enemies with shame, but his head will be adorned with a radiant crown.” (Psalm 132:11-18 [MODIFIED-NIV])*

A song of ascents. Of David. How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even aeonial* life. (Psalm 133:1-3 [MODIFIED-NIV])*

A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Restore our fortunes, LORD, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them. (Psalm 126:1-6 [NIV])

But the LORD reigns aeonially*. He has prepared his throne for judgment. He will judge the world in righteousness. He will administer judgment to the peoples in uprightness. The LORD will also be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you. Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion, and declare among the people what he has done. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. (Psalm 2:6 [KJV])

But you have come to Mount Zion, and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, (Hebrews 12:22 [BLB])

Then you will know that I, the LORD your God, dwell in Zion, my holy hill. Jerusalem will be holy; never again will foreigners invade her. (Joel 3:17 [NIV])

And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who has been recorded for life in Jerusalem, (Isaiah 4:3 [ESV])

Awake, awake, Zion, clothe yourself with strength! Put on your garments of splendor, Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again. (Isaiah 52:1 [NIV])

A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? (Psalm 15:1 [KJV])

Oh, that Israel’s deliverance would come from Zion! When the LORD restores the fortunes of His people, Jacob will rejoice; Israel will be glad.  (Psalm 14:7 [HCSB])

A psalm of Asaph. The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to where it sets. From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth. Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages. He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that he may judge his people: “Gather to me this consecrated people, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice.” (Psalm 50:1-5 [NIV])

Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When God restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad. (Psalm 53:6 [ESV])

Then the LORD will create over all of Mount Zion and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night; over everything the glory will be a canopy. It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain. (Isaiah 4:5-6 [NIV])

What will one answer the messengers of the nation? “The LORD has founded Zion, and in her the afflicted of his people find refuge.” (Isaiah 14:32 [ESV])

On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine– the best of meats and the finest of wines. On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death… The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.” The hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain; but Moab will be trampled in their land as straw is trampled down in the manure. (Isaiah 25:6-10 [NIV])

I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 8:11 [NIV])

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your risingForeigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you; for in my wrath I struck you, but in my favor I have had mercy on you. 11 Your gates shall be open continually; day and night they shall not be shut, that people may bring to you the wealth of the nations, with their kings led in procession. 12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste. 13 The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the cypress, the plane, and the pine, to beautify the place of my sanctuary, and I will make the place of my feet glorious. 14 The sons of those who afflicted you shall come bending low to you, and all who despised you shall bow down at your feet; they shall call you the City of the Lord, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel(Isaiah 60:1-14 [ESV])

For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch. The nations shall see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory, and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will give… Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, “Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.” 12 And they shall be called The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken. (Isaiah 62:1-12 [ESV])

Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children. (Isaiah 66:8 [NIV])

Which will also become the city of God, having towers and citadels,

A song. A psalm of the Sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, his holy mountain. Beautiful in its loftiness, the joy of the whole earth, like the heights of Zaphon is Mount Zion, the city of the Great King. God is in her citadels; he has shown himself to be her fortress…. Mount Zion rejoices, the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments. Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers, consider well her ramparts, view her citadels, that you may tell of them to the next generation. (Psalm 48:1-13 [NIV])

And during the seven days of the Festival of Booths,

The requirement to offer special gifts to God,

For seven days you must present special gifts to the LORD. The eighth day is another holy day on which you present your special gifts to the LORD. This will be a solemn occasion, and no ordinary work may be done that day. (Leviticus 23:36 [NLT])

Will be fulfilled by elect giving an account of good works to Jesus Christ before the judgment seat of his throne,

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. (2 Corinthians 5:10 [ESV])

So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. (Romans 14:12 [NIV])

because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free. (Ephesians 6:8 [NIV])

See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him. (Isaiah 40:10 [NIV])

Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation. (1 Peter 2:12 [ESV])

Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here, I have made five talents more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ (Matthew 25:19-21 [ESV])

And I heard a voice out of heaven, saying “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead dying in the Lord from now on.'” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “so that they will rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.” (Revelation 14:13 [BLB])

She was given clothing of fine linen, linen bright and pure.” For the fine linen she wears is the righteous acts of the saints. (Revelation 19:8 [BSB])

And the elect will begin to receive reward, an inheritance of ownership of lands and different measures of authority to rule all around the world, which relate to these passages,

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. (Matthew 5:5 [NIV])

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. (Psalm 37:11 [KJV])

He has shown his people the power of his works, giving them the lands of other nations. (Psalm 111:6 [NIV])

(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:5-6 [NIV])

To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’ –just as I have received authority from my Father. (Revelation 2:26-27 [NIV])

The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. (Revelation 3:21 [ESV])

It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. (Romans 4:13 [NIV])

He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. He has sent me to tell those who mourn that the time of the Lord’s favor has come, and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies. To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory. They will rebuild the ancient ruins, repairing cities destroyed long ago. They will revive them, though they have been deserted for many generations. Foreigners will be your servants. They will feed your flocks and plow your fields  and tend your vineyards. You will be called priests of the Lord, ministers of our God. You will feed on the treasures of the nations and boast in their riches. And during each of the seven days of the Festival of Booths “liquid”, or drink, offerings are also offered,

(“These are the LORD’s appointed festivals. Celebrate them each year as official days for holy assembly by presenting special gifts to the LORD–burnt offerings, grain offerings, sacrifices, and liquid offerings–each on its proper day. (Leviticus 23:37 [NLT])

On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work, and you shall keep a feast to the LORD seven days. And you shall offer a burnt offering, a food offering, with a pleasing aroma to the LORD, thirteen bulls from the herd, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old; they shall be without blemish… and its drink offering… “On the second day twelve bulls from the herd, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish… and their drink offerings… “On the third day eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish… and its drink offering… “On the fourth day ten bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish… and its drink offering… “On the fifth day nine bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish… and its drink offering… “On the sixth day eight bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish… and its drink offerings… “On the seventh day seven bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish… and its drink offering. (Numbers 29:12-34 [ESV])

Which was wine,

and give two quarts of wine as a liquid offering. This will be a special gift, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. (Numbers 15:10 [NLT])

That was poured on the brazen altar,

Along with it you must present the proper liquid offering of one quart of alcoholic drink with each lamb, poured out in the Holy Place as an offering to the LORD. (Numbers 28:7 [NLT])

Which is not the holy place in the inner sanctuary, but in the outer court where the brazen altar is,

Why have ye not eaten of the atonement for sin in the holy place? For it is most holy, and God has given it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, that they may be reconciled before the LORD. Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the inner sanctuary; ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded. (Leviticus 10:17-18 [JB2000])

The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation. (Leviticus 6:26 [KJV])

Using the golden bowls in the “holy place” of the inner sanctuary of the tabernacle, that are on top of the “table of showbread”,

And you shall make its plates and dishes for incense, and its flagons and bowls with which to pour drink offerings; you shall make them of pure gold. (Exodus 25:29 [ESV])

Wherein the requirement to offer drink offerings at the Festival of Booths will be fulfilled by angels leaving the heavenly temple, after the “winepress has been trodden”,

Then I looked and saw that the Temple in heaven, God’s Tabernacle, was thrown wide open. The seven angels who were holding the seven plagues came out of the Temple. They were clothed in spotless white linen with gold sashes across their chests (Revelation 15:5 [NLT])

With seven golden bowls containing the last seven plagues that will be poured on the earth, which will be poured on each of the seven days of the Festival of Booths,

And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, the One living to the aeons* of the aeons*. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from His power; and no one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
 (Revelation 15:7-8 [MODIFIED-BLB])*

And before these plagues are poured, the elect who were already gathered by angels will sing a song,

And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God and sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb: “Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the nations. Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.” (Revelation 15:2-4 [NIV])

And then the first bowl of wrath will be poured,

The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. (Revelation 16:2 [NIV])

Then the second bowl of wrath is poured,

The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead person, and every living thing in the sea died. (Revelation 16:3 [NIV])

Followed by the third bowl of wrath,

The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. (Revelation 16:4 [NIV])

Followed by the fourth bowl of wrath,

The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. (Revelation 16:8 [NIV])

Followed by the fifth bowl of wrath,

The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done. (Revelation 16:10-11 [NIV])

Which coincides with this prophecy,

They will pass through the land when they are hard-pressed and hungry. When they are hungry, they will be furious. Then they will look up, cursing their king and God. They will look at the earth and see only distress and gloom. They will go in anguish and be forced into darkness. (Isaiah 8:21-22 [GODSWORD])

Followed by the sixth bowl of wrath,

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God AlmightyAnd they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. (Revelation 16:12-16 [NIV])

Which coincides with this prophecy,

Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying, “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.” (Psalm 2:1-3 [ESV])

And after the armies of the world have been gathered in the place called Armageddon, then the seventh and final bowl will be poured,

The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!” Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake… the cities of the nations collapsed… Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. From the sky huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell on people. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible. (Revelation 16:17-21 [NIV])

Which will result in the collapse and destruction of every city in the world, which coincides with these other prophecies,

The earth is broken up, the earth is split asunder, the earth is violently shaken. The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls–never to rise again. (Isaiah 24:19-20 [NIV])

And by all these plagues that will bring swift destruction to all nations will this prophecy be fulfilled,

The nations have sunk in the pit that they made; in the net that they hid, their own foot has been caught. The LORD has made himself known; he has executed judgment; the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands. Higgaion. Selah. The wicked shall return to Sheol, all the nations that forget God… Arise, O LORD! Let not man prevail; let the nations be judged before you! Put them in fear, O LORD! Let the nations know that they are but men! Selah (Psalm 9:15-20 [ESV])

Then shortly after the appointed days for the Festival of Booths, the elect will then be appointed as judges on the earth,

You shall appoint judges and officers in all your towns that the LORD your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. (Deuteronomy 16:18 [ESV])

Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! (1 Corinthians 6:2-3 [NIV])

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (Revelation 20:4 [NIV])

Where the time of another reaping by angels begins, where the wicked all over the world will be captured,

The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. (Matthew 13:41 [NIV])

Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. (Matthew 24:40-41 [NIV])

All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. (Matthew 25:32 [NIV])

This is how it will be at the end of the aeon*. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:49-50 [MODIFIED-NIV])*

You will capture all your enemies. Your strong right hand will seize all who hate you. (Psalm 21:8 [NLT])

For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation. Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands, to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples, to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, to execute on them the judgment written! This is honor for all his godly ones. Praise the LORD! (Psalm 149:4-9 [ESV])

Where Satan will also be captured, to be imprisoned,

So it will happen in that day, That the LORD will punish the host of heaven on high, And the kings of the earth on earth. They will be gathered together Like prisoners in the dungeon, And will be confined in prison; And after many days they will be punished.
(Isaiah 24:21-22 [NASB])

He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.
 (Revelation 20:2-3 [NIV])

And the wicked will be taken to Israel to be judged by the elect who were appointed as judges,

I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land. (Joel 3:2 [NIV])

He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. (Isaiah 2:4 [NIV])

Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages… But to the wicked person, God says: “What right have you to recite my laws or take my covenant on your lips? You hate my instruction and cast my words behind you. When you see a thief, you join with him; you throw in your lot with adulterers. You use your mouth for evil and harness your tongue to deceit. You sit and testify against your brother and slander your own mother’s son. When you did these things and I kept silent, you thought I was exactly like you. But I now arraign you and set my accusations before you. (Psalm 50:3-21 [NIV])

Which relates to this prophecy,

But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. (Revelation 19:20 [NIV])

For a beast in prophecy symbolizes a kingdom, hence why this beast in the book of Daniel was said to symbolize a kingdom,

“He gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth… (Daniel 7:23 [NIV])

As such, the interpretation of the first beast and the second beast, also called the false prophet, being thrown into the fire is that all the people that correspond to these kingdoms will be thrown into the fire after they are judged, which relates to this prophecy,

“And they will go out and look on the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; the worms that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.” (Isaiah 66:24 [NIV])

You will throw them in a flaming furnace when you appear. The Lord will consume them in his anger; fire will devour them. (Psalm 21:9 [NLT])

Where this furnace of fire will be located in Jerusalem,

THis rock will pass away by reason of terror, and his officers will be afraid of the banner,” says the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem. (Isaiah 31:9 [NHEB])

And anyone thrown into this fire will die a painful death and be permanently destroyed, body and soul,

And you should not be afraid of those killing the body but not being able to kill the soul. Indeed rather you should fear the One being able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. (Matthew 10:28 [BLB])

Which is why according to Isaiah there will be dead bodies that will be seen there, because everyone thrown into this fire dies, which is the same place Jesus Christ spoke of as the place where “worms do not die nor is the fire quenched”,

And if your eye should cause you to stumble, cast it out; it is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes, to be cast into Gehenna, wheretheir worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’ (Mark 9:47-48 [BLB])

In which case, this will not be an ordinary fire, but a lava lake, hence,

…the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15 [NIV])

Which explains how this fire will not be quenched, because a steady lava flow does not quench, and also explains how worms will not die, because lava has a high viscosity that will cause dead bodies to float on the surface, where worms will thus feed on those bodies without dying. This fire will continue to burn for a thousand years, which is also why it is called an aeonial fire,

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the aeonial* fire… (Matthew 25:41 [MODIFIED-NIV])*

“See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. (Isaiah 65:17 [NIV])

“For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make shall remain before me, says the LORD, so shall your offspring and your name remain. (Isaiah 66:22 [ESV])

And there will be no night there; and they have no need of a lamp, and the light of the sun, for the Lord  God enlightens them; and they shall reign into the aeons* of the aeons*. (Revelation of John 22:5 [ABP])*

And during the aeon of the rulership of Jesus Christ, the elect, who will be become immortal,

For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. (1 Corinthians 15:53 [NIV])

Will rule over those who survived these events and live into that aeon, who are still mortal, and identified as,

“In that day,” declares the LORD, “I will gather the lame; I will assemble the exiles and those I have brought to grief. I will make the lame my remnant, those driven away a strong nation. The LORD will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and aeonially*. (Micah 4:6-7 [MODIFIED-NIV])*

I pursued my enemies and overtook them, And I did not turn back until they were consumed. I shattered them, so that they were not able to rise; They fell under my feet. For You have girded me with strength for battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me. You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, And I destroyed those who hated me. They cried for help, but there was none to save, Even to the LORD, but He did not answer them. Then I beat them fine as the dust before the wind; I emptied them out as the mire of the streets. You have delivered me from the contentions of the people; You have placed me as head of the nations; A people whom I have not known serve me. As soon as they hear, they obey me; Foreigners submit to me. Foreigners fade away, And come trembling out of their fortresses. The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock; And exalted be the God of my salvation, The God who executes vengeance for me, And subdues peoples under me. (Psalm 18:37-47 [NASB])

For the LORD will have compassion on Jacob and will again choose Israel, and will set them in their own land, and sojourners will join them and will attach themselves to the house of Jacob. And the peoples will take them and bring them to their place, and the house of Israel will possess them in the LORD’s land as male and female slaves. They will take captive those who were their captors, and rule over those who oppressed them.
 (Isaiah 14:1-2 [ESV])

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. (Revelation 7:9)

Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes–who are they, and where did they come from?” I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (Revelation 7:13-14 [NIV])

I will make people more rare than fine gold, and mankind than the gold of Ophir. (Isaiah 13:12 [ESV])

See, the LORD is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants— it will be the same for priest as for people, for the master as for his servant, for the mistress as for her servant, for seller as for buyer, for borrower as for lender, for debtor as for creditor. The earth will be completely laid waste and totally plundered. The LORD has spoken this word. The earth dries up and withers, the world languishes and withers, the heavens languish with the earth. The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left. (Isaiah 24:1-6 [NIV])

An oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them. And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians, and they will fight, each against another and each against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom; and the spirit of the Egyptians within them will be emptied out, and I will confound their counsel; and they will inquire of the idols and the sorcerers, and the mediums and the necromancers; and I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a hard master, and a fierce king will rule over them, declares the Lord GOD of hosts… In that day the Egyptians will be like women, and tremble with fear before the hand that the LORD of hosts shakes over them. And the land of Judah will become a terror to the Egyptians. Everyone to whom it is mentioned will fear because of the purpose that the LORD of hosts has purposed against them. In that day there will be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the LORD… In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD at its border. It will be a sign and a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt. When they cry to the LORD because of oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and deliver them. And the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians, and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day and worship with sacrifice and offering, and they will make vows to the LORD and perform them. And the LORD will strike Egypt, striking and healing, and they will return to the LORD, and he will listen to their pleas for mercy and heal them. In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria will come into Egypt, and Egypt into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, whom the LORD of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.
(Isaiah 19:1-25 [ESV])

For the earth will be full of the knowledge of God, and righteousness will abound, and there will be peace on the earth,

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14 [NIV])

They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. (Isaiah 11:9 [NIV])

The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,” says the LORD. (Isaiah 65:25 [NIV])

There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will respond as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt. “In that day,” declares the LORD, “you will call me ‘my husband’; you will no longer call me ‘my master.’ I will remove the names of the Baals from her lips; no longer will their names be invoked. In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety. (Hosea 2:15-18 [NIV])

Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. (Isaiah 65:20 [NIV])

He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. (Psalm 46:9 [NIV])

The LORD has broken the rod of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers, which in anger struck down peoples with unceasing blows, and in fury subdued nations with relentless aggression. All the lands are at rest and at peace; they break into singing. Even the junipers and the cedars of Lebanon gloat over you and say, “Now that you have been laid low, no one comes to cut us down.” (Isaiah 14:5-8 [NIV])

And these mortal survivors will multiply exceedingly,

and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth–Gog and Magog–and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. (Revelation 20:8 [NIV])

And at the end of the thousand year rulership of Jesus Christ, Satan, his angels, and also his demons, will be judged by the elect, and thrown into the lake of fire to be destroyed,

Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! (1 Corinthians 6:3 [NIV])

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown… (Revelation 20:10 [NIV])

And because of the many fallen angels that exist, there will be a day and night torment of the symbol of the “devil”, until the time of the aeons of the aeons, as each angel is judged and thrown into the fire,

…And they shall be tormented day and night into the aeons* of the aeons*.  (Revelation of John 20:10 [MODIFIED-ABP])*

Interlinear Links: *αἰῶνας (aeons), αἰώνων (aeons), Revelation 20:10

Which will result in the death and final destruction of all fallen angels, for all fallen angels will die as men, which also includes demons,

I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.” (Psalm 82:6-7 [ESV])

You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and exquisite in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God… You defiled your sanctuaries with your many sins and your dishonest trade. So I brought fire out from within you, and it consumed you. I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching. All who knew you are appalled at your fate. You have come to a terrible end, and you will exist no more. (Ezekiel 28:12-19 [NLT])

And then, all the dead from Adam to all who were still mortal and died during the millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ will be resurrected,

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. (Revelation 20:12-13 [NIV])

And the last to be thrown into this fire will be those who are resurrected and were not found in the book of life,

Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15 [NIV])

And all who are thrown into the fire, who had already died once and were thus resurrected, will die a second and final death,

Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. (Revelation 20:14 [NIV])

Yet all who were resurrected in the final resurrection whose names were found in the book of life will be the ones to receive healing by the tree of life in the new heaven and new earth,

down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. (Revelation 22:2 [NIV])

As such, because of all of the terrible events that begin at the second coming of Jesus Christ is why it is said here,

…There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” (Revelation 14:11 [NIV])

Because the wicked will have no rest any day or night during the time that these events events unfold, leading up to their final destruction by fire,

Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I act,” says the LORD Almighty. (Malachi 4:3 [NIV])

The peoples will be burned to ashes; like cut thornbushes they will be set ablaze.” (Isaiah 33:12 [NIV])
